Shogran sits on a plateau at 2,362 m in the Kaghan Valley, 34 km from Balakot. From here, jeeps climb to Siri and Paye, two high meadows below Makra Peak with shallow lakes and panoramic views.
It is a classic introduction to the north from Islamabad — and a short drive from the Sharan and Siran forests that we run trips to.
