Khyber Pakhtunkhwa · Kaghan Valley
A legend at 3,224 metres.
At 3,224 m, Saiful Muluk is one of the highest lakes in Pakistan, sitting above the tree line at the northern end of the Kaghan Valley near Naran. It is named after a prince in a folk tale retold in verse by the Sufi poet Mian Muhammad Bakhsh.
Jeeps climb from Naran, and Malika Parbat (≈ 5,290 m) stands behind the water.
