It depends on where you go. Most high-altitude destinations — Deosai, Fairy Meadows, Saiful Muluk, Khunjerab — are accessible from roughly June to September. Hunza and Skardu are lovely from April to October, and valleys like Swat and Galyat can be visited in a wider window.
Places such as Deosai (4,114 m), Khunjerab (4,693 m) and Fairy Meadows (3,300 m) are high. Travel gradually, drink plenty of water, rest on the first day and tell your guide if you feel unwell.
